UK Growers
UK growers – 100% LEAF Certified (Linking the Environment and Farming). This means that our growers are producing great tasting berries whilst preserving our beautiful natural landscapes.
Regular Farm Carbon Audits to track farm emissions – Angus Growers have already reduced carbon emissions by 30% per kg of fruit since 2013. A regular Farm Carbon Audit means that our growers can put the most effective plans in place to minimise their farm carbon footprints, benefitting us and the environment.
Over 80% recycled content on all plastic punnets used by our growers to pick fruit into. This means that all our punnets are made using recycled plastic material, giving it a new purpose and contributing to a closed loop system.
Reusable plastic troughs for tabletop instead of plastic bags for growing strawberries in and substrate trials to reduce reliance on imported coir such as using wood chip and wool blends. This means our growers are striving to grow our delicious berries in the most sustainable way possible.
220% increase in biological control measures over 5 years following recommendations of our central agronomy team. We’ve boosted natural pest control by 220% with the help of our dedicated team of agronomists who help growers encourage helpful insects to naturally control pest and disease that could harm our berries.

Import Growers
All our Spanish growers are Global Gap Spring certified – meaning our Spanish fruit is grown responsibly and sustainably, supporting people and the planet.
Spring certification for High-Risk Water Areas within Global Supply base. This means we are protecting water where it matters the most.
Supporting collective action water projects in Spain: Life 4 Donana and WRAP Donana Project. We’re protecting the water that grows your fruit – by supporting local water-saving projects in Spain, where our berries are grown. That means healthier fruit, thriving communities, and a more sustainable planet with every punnet you pick.
What are we striving for?
By 2030 50% reduction in entire value chain carbon emissions (scope 1, 2, and 3) We want to reduce our carbon footprint by 50% by 2030, this is a tall order but we are confident that our amazing team of experts and dedicated growers we can achieve this.
By 2040 Net Zero carbon emissions. This means we want to balance the amount of greenhouse gases we put into the atmosphere with the amount we take out.
100% LEAF across global supply chain by 2026. So that all of our growers can produce great tasting berries whilst preserving our beautiful natural landscapes.
By 2030 50% reduction in food waste in our operations. We hate to see berries go to waste, that’s why we are committed to reducing our fruit waste by 50%, meaning more delicious berries can be eaten by or customers.
